Cancellation & Refund Policy Overview

Deposits

Deposits are required to reserve space for you, with some limited exceptions, as noted below. Royal Wanderlust ("RW") accepts payment via our payment processor PayPal. You may pay using any method available via PayPal to include e-checks, Visa, MasterCard (MC), Discover, and American Express (AMEX). Payment of the deposit indicates you have read and accepted the full Wanderlust Trips Terms & Conditions (T&C) of booking with RW, as well as the Company's general terms & conditions. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit is processed by RW and receive a confirmation invoice.

Once your deposit has been paid, if booking an air-inclusive Wanderlust Trip, change requests to a land only package will not be permitted; and vice versa. Any cancellations will be subject to the cancellation policy and any other applicable terms and conditions of the Wanderlust Trip you have booked.

Deposits are required for all Royal Wanderlust Trips and will vary based on the overall cost of the trip and airline, resort/hotel/lodging, ground transportation, and tour requirements. All deposits are non-refundable, non-transferable, per-person, and per-trip.

Invoicing

You are responsible for verifying that everything on your invoice is accurate and complete, including options selected and that the name matches the relevant government ID (passport, driver's license, state ID). RW cannot accept responsibility, if we are not notified of inaccuracies within 5-calendar days of sending out the invoice. Changes are subject to the fees and penalties noted in the T&C. In the case of billing errors, RW reserves the right to re-invoice you with correct pricing.

Payment Plans & Late Payments

Unless otherwise stated, if you require a payment plan, all payments will be due on the stated due date for the Wanderlust Trip you have booked. Payments made after 11:59 pm CST on the stated due date will be assessed a late fee of $25; with an additional $5 per day thereafter.  Late fees are invoiced to you directly by Royal Wanderlust and are due immediately upon receipt. Late fees are not applied to your trip balance. Failure to pay any applicable late penalties in a timely manner, may result in you being immediately removed from the trip.

Booking Cancellations

If a booking cancellation is received by RW prior to the final payment date of the Wanderlust Trip, your non-refundable deposit payment(s) will be retained; in addition to any other non-refundable deposits and fees assessed by any tour operations, resorts/hotels and airlines.

Travel Protection may or may not be offered/included in some Wanderlust Trips. In the event it is not, we we can assist in finding a plan that suits your needs and budget. It is highly recommended that each traveler obtain travel protection.

If you need to cancel for any reason, you must submit your request via the Contact Us link (or send an email to info@royalwanderlust.com) and include your name, email, reason for inquiry (cancellation or refund) and name of RW trip. Also include the reason you are requesting the cancellation or refund in the Message box. Note: Refunds may take up to 30 days to process.

If you make more than two late payments, at any time during the payment plan, you will be immediately removed from the trip and a refund will be given according to the cancellation/refund policy, no exceptions.  Example: Payments are due monthly on the 15th from January - July. One late payment is received February 16 and a second late payment is received May 18. June 16 arrives and the payment due was not received by 11:59 pm CST on the 15th. This will result in your removal. As a reminder, a payment is considered late if it is received after 11:59 pm CST on the stated due date for the trip you have booked.

Wanderlust Trip Cancellations

Royal Wanderlust reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any Wanderlust Trip departure for any reason, including insufficient demand or force majeure. If a Wanderlust Trip is canceled prior to departure, RW's only responsibility will be to refund the amount received for the reservation. RW will try to rebook the same trip with a different departure date, or a similar trip, but there is no guarantee of availability.
